Charles S. Faddis' most recent novel, "Barbarossa", is the sequel to the acclaimed "Codename Aphrodite".  Bill and Aphrodite plunge into the mountains of Kurdistan in search of a missing Russian nuclear weapon. All is not as it seems, and not very friend can be trusted.

Charles Faddis' first novel, "CODENAME APHRODITE",  chronicles the adventures of ex-CIA officer, Bill Boyle, as he tries to avenge his wife's murder and navigate his way through the dangerous streets of Athens, Greece.  Based on the author's own experiences as a counterterrorist operative abroad, this is about as close as you are going to get to running an op yourself without joining the Company.

"WILLFUL NEGLECT", is a critical street level look at homeland security ten years after 9/11.  After a decade of spending and the construction of huge new bureaucracies, are we really any safer? Or have we just thrown money at the problem?  An operator's view of how dangerously vulnerable we are.

"BEYOND REPAIR"is an examination of the state of the CIA and an argument for the creation of a new OSS.  The CIA began life as a small, flat, elite organization composed of individuals who would do whatever it took to get the job done.  Today it is dangerously close to becoming just another federal bureaucracy.

"OPERATION HOTEL CALIFORNIA", written by Mike Tucker with Charles S. Faddis, details the actions of Faddis' team inside Iraq in 2002 and 2003.  This is the story of the men and women who began the Iraq War and were in country for almost a year before the invasion "started".

Inside Iraq

"THE UNITED STATES OF COMMON SENSE"

A straightforward non-partisan look at the issues of the day, the economy, terrorism, national defense and the state of our society.  Predicated on the belief that while extremists on both the right and the left have hijacked the national dialogue on many issues, the bulk of us are really not that far apart in our beliefs.
