Served 20 years in the Central Intelligence Agency as an Operations Officer.
DEPARTMENT CHIEF, CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY’S COUNTER-TERRORIST CENTER, WASHINGTON, DC – September 2006 – May 2008. Supervised a staff of over 100 OO’s, SOO’s, CMO’s, DI analysts, targeteers, legal staff, etc. Oversaw worldwide operations against the terrorist WMD target, coordinated extensively with other government agencies.
CHIEF OF STATION – MIDDLE EAST – Summer 2003 – Summer 2006. Supervised internal operations, in addition to coordinating the operational activities of other government agencies.
CHIEF OF BASE – MIDDLE EAST – Summer 2002 – Summer 2003. Served as the Chief of the first intelligence collection team to establish a presence in this region of the Middle East.
BRANCH CHIEF – CIA HEADQUARTERS – WASHINGTON, DC – Summer 2001 – Summer 2002. During this time period also carried out extended deployment to South Asia.
CHIEF OF OPERATIONS - SOUTH ASIA – Summer 1998 – Summer 2001. Oversaw and directed the operational activity of over a dozen operations officers and additional support staff. Responsible for the direction of operations against a wide variety of targets.
